Don't think so. Probably on the "endangered species" list though.

God lives forever.

Besisdes He is not alone. There are three Persons called God. 1 God the Father 2 Jesus Son of God 3 The Holly Spirit.
I mean:
The Holly Trinity
as mother Church says .(e.g.Ortodox Christianity)

Besides , there are plenty of people around of Him now, so God is not alone ...Plenty of angels, and saints and the people who went there..

So being three eternal persons in'' God'', God is not alone .They are Three. If we are a couple (man and wife)or a family (man , wife and a child )are we ..alone?

No God has family.

Matthew 3:17 - And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 17:5 - While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Mark 1:11 - And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

2 Peter 1:17 - For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Very good question.

God is not extinct, You just have to find him.........Havent you seen people beating themselves, torturing themselves, climbing mountains, bathing in so called sacred rivers.....just to find that god?
And a few succeed..... A chinese philosopher once said....A man travels all over the globe, to find that one thing that will make him feel good......and returns home to find it......

God doesnt live in mountains or rivers or ponds or special places. Open your heart to god, look inside, its where he lives.......You may not to able to see him....Hes there, call for him......he will be there....

The next question you should ask is... [yourself, not in Yahoo!]
.......Do you have him... that special person inside you?

Jehovah is far from alone. He has his begotten Son Jesus Christ and miriads and mirads of angels and millions of his faithful flock on earth who constantly bring him warm loving praise.
Though Jehovah doesn't need our company His overwhelming love caused him to share that love and he became the Creator of all things good that good christians earth wide who call on the LORD Jehovah. His servants in heaven and on earth are far from lonely. The brother and sisterhood is joyful and friendly.
And I do not mind the thumbs down because I have experienced it for myself and know it to be real.
