Itunes say there is a fualt with my audio configuration-HELP!!?

Question

Basically when I click on the itunes this message pops up about a fault in the audio configuration. Now I have gone to the audio option in my control panel and everything there is set to default. I dont know what else could have been changed within the 5 minutes that I had come out of itunes, although this started just after I had an upgrade to 7.1 of itunes-could they be linked? I'm soooo confused!

i got the same problem with u too...does it mean we have to remove the old one and download a new one?
