“To Be One With Each Other” by George Eliot
What greater thing is there for two human souls
than to feel that they are joined together to strengthen
each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow,
to share with each other in all gladness,
to be one with each other in the
silent unspoken memories?

Hello there. I had a humanist wedding last year and nicked some ideas from humanist wedding websites in the states. I also contacted a humanist celebrant who sent me loads of readings and material by email. It was non-religious stuff and mostly about how we use our time, love, etc, hope this helps.

go on any wedding website, but your minister usually chooses the reading, as he can use the most approprite reading and use it to plan his ministry
