I'm a Catholic but, I'm just curious about where he came from.

No one knows, but since you're a Catholic, I would say that the Bible describes HIM as having no beginning and no end. The reason why we can't seem to understand this is because we live in a world of matter where everything has an age. But you must know that a spirit entity is different from matter; so different that the laws of matter don't apply to them.

From my point of view (and this is just personal view which you might even find ridiculous,) an entity that has no beginning and no end can only be that which can control Time and the Dimensions. That entity must be able to switch between timelines and dimensions. Thus by doing so, create other timelines as well. It is this capability that enables one to be without beginning and without end. Anyway, that's my opinion, sounds out of this world, huh?

the subject right this is defining what a soul is. because of the fact this is such an ambiguous theory, no person has an same definition different than asserting what a soul isn't. Theists say souls are become self sustaining from the techniques and are the source of information and ethical experience, yet then how come you information could be altered by using drugs or psychological problems? the factor i'm making right this is that there's no such element as a soul, this is a theory created by using primitive human to describe an integrated function of the techniques, information. different problems arise with the god theory, yet that has not something to do with the question being asked.

That, of course, is the question to end all questions. And, surely, that is a question that goes along with any belief system.

Just where did it all start and where did God come from?
Even non-believers have a problem there. But that question, for me, makes my faith even stronger. Just where is the end of the universe? And, then of course, if there is an end, what is it inside of? And if, in fact, God was there first, where was he?

As I said this question crosses all faiths and beliefs and non-believers to. If you believe in evolution, then just where did that first life energy come from? It had to come from somewhere. And that question will never have an answer for us in this life, I don't think. And surely an Almighty God must be there, he has to be. And this question to me also makes me know that almost every single person in the world believes in God. No matter what they say they believe. There is no greater fear and therefore no greater respect than there is for the unknown.

So you have asked "the question" that millions of people have been wondering about for centuries and will continue to wonder about for centuries to come. And only God can answer it. The all powerful, Almighty God.

Now THAT's the real question, isn't it? No-one knows anything about the spiritual side of existence, or even if there is one. We have an enormous business with a raft of "don'ts", and a book full of "thou shalts", and who's to say they're not completely wrong? Come to think of it, I might be entirely wrong, too, but I don't care one way or the other. I just get on with living Life the best way I can.

Consider this, the concept of time was created by God.

Up until that moment, there was no such thing as past, present of future.

So your question is invalid. Because God does not follow the rules of His own creation.

He creates them.

He always was.

The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Qur’an:

"Say: He is Allah,
The One and Only.
"Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]

The word ‘Assamad’ is difficult to translate. It means ‘absolute existence’, which can be attributed only to Allah (swt), all other existence being temporal or conditional. It also means that Allah (swt) is not dependant on any person or thing, but all persons and things are dependant on Him.

According to Islam, God has no creator, God created everything

In Qur'an, God (Allah) tells us that fact in Sura 112:
" Say: He is Allah the One and Only; Allah the Eternal Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him "

Explanation:
- (Say) is an order to Muhammed, to tell all people that there is no God but Allah, he is One & Only
- (He begetteth not nor is He begotten) is a proof that Allah has no creator
- The rest of the verse proves that Allah has no son, has no wife, ... etc

hope u understood the verse & my explanation

God did not create the universe or human beings, humans created the fictional god.

God is God. He is self-existent. If God was created, He wouldn't be God. The one who created Him would be.
