I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I lost 20 pounds(making me five pounds underweight). I went on a diet of natural yoghurt-200 gms in the afternoon for lunch and a few pieces of fruit for dinner.
The calorie intake was just 300 calories but less severe than a master cleanse/water diet.
I have kept the weight off for a year now.I eat sensibly-mainly salads and fruits even binge on them and work out 5 hours weekly.

ok. do atkins.
all protien, and less than 20 carbohydrates a day.

that means you can eat eggs (1 egg is 2 carbs), almost all the meat you want, green leafy veggies (about 1 or 2 carbs for a bowl), celery cucumbers.

NO bread, pasta, fruit (too full of carbs), no breakfast cereal, nothing with sugar.

if you do less than 20 carbs a day for a month you will lose over 10 lbs. I did atkins for 3 months and dropped about 60lbs.

It is pretty easy to do since all items packaged in the US have a list of carbs on them.

The extreme diets, such as cutting all carbs or cutting all fats (my favorite) really DO work. They aren't healthy though (although fat-free is healthier since you load up on veggies and fruit--but in the long run, there are some healthy fats that you do need). If you are just doing it for a month, give the fat free a try. (No meat, no added oil, no butters, no creams) Veggies, fruits, rice (brown preferred), etc.

drink a lot of water before meals to help you feel full, cut down on the carbs and refined sugars, cut out most of the fat and eat a good assortment of fresh fruits and veg..just don't over-do it on the fruit (lots of sugars) with a sensible meal plan, light exercising like walking and a good sleep regimen- you should lose about 2 pounds a week and not even feel like it is too much of a hassle
