Cautiously. Shy guys generally aren't used to girls paying them attention in any positive fashion. So he'll be surprised at the very least. Most likely he has faced his share of rejection from girls too shallow to have any interest in him, so he will be wary. He'll understandably be wondering how it is you intend to humiliate him. If you are "too much" you'll drive him right back in his shell.

Either he really is shy in which case you have to be the one to make the move. Engage him in conversation about things you like or things you know he likes, Better still, try to arrange to meet outside of normal surroundings - for coffee or lunch etc. You should allow for the fact that he is not actually into you or may have done something by now... But try anyway - he is probably dying to speak to you too...

Talk to him become more and more friendly and talk him about the things which interests him. In this way you will come to know his interests, likes and dislikes so that you will also become in the comfort zone . Life is something which is not the way we see it so plan out everything and most importantly do not hurt any emotions

My friend had this problem. Try and talk about things that really interest him, that'll make him feel alot more open and comfortable talking.
Otherwise, I have no idea, I've tried endlessly on my friends crush!

Stay friendly. Smile at him and talk to him about things like rugby or soccer or computers & cars.

aw. that's cute. alot of guys are shy. just be friendly with him and talk casually. have light-hearted conversations and just have fun. gradually, he'll be more comfortable around you and start to ease up=)
