Give yourself and him some personal space to sort things out. Once you're sure of the relationship, approach him and let him know your thoughts and feelings.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/JzqIQ
Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.
The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

Use this as a time to spoil yourself and its a great excuse to spend money on yourself.
Go get a brand new hair do, a whole new wardrobe (go to primark if you're on a budget), ring up some old friends go to a bar or out for dinner and STOP CONTRACTING YOUR EX!
Get your own life, give him space and he will probably come back running.

you cant 'win' someone back. two people need to have feelings for each other for a relationship to work. Just back off give it time carry on being friends (thats the best thing for your kids) who knows what may happen.

Friend, the Bible says "Let no man put asunder what God has put together"...and God is no liar...so, if you pray to the one who created you and your soul mate...and become willing to do what God puts in your heart...I am sure God will put the same in his heart as well....God is the God of restoration of relationships. Pray that God put a fire in the both of you for each other and for God...Nothing is impossible for those who believe. I will be believing on your behalf. Best of everything! Just keep doing what you're doing unless you are lead other wise w/ him...(don't go all bonsai!)

Open up your heart to him. I won my Ian back this way, he strayed, but I told him how I felt about him, & that he was the most important thing in my life. After many tears on both of our behalfs he has now become warmer to me & closer. xxx

Take your time people are going to do what they want to do. There must be a reason why you two broke up and aren't back together yet.

Why did you split up? Certainly there was a reason and if so that reason is still viable. You may always love him, but that doesn't mean you can or should be together.
