There is only one way to receive the Holy Spirit, and that is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, be baptized and and repent from your sins..Read the BibleGalatians 5:16-26;John 14:15-31; Romans 8:1-27;1Cor 2:6-16;

For Salvation under the Gospel of Grace, We recive the Holy Spirit at the time that we are first Saved.
Luke 11:13 - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Ephesians 4:30 - And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

There is only one way, Repent & be Baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, But each person does not have to receive it the same way, some receives it by just sitting in a pew, others receive it by running, Some by speaking in tongues, some by laying on the ground, But the end results is they receive it according to repenting & being baptized in Jesus Christ name.

JESUS says, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.NO MAN COMMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME. when one accepts JESUS as their personal savior, then the bible teaches us, that THE HOLY SPIRIT, enters our hearts,to show us right from wrong, HE becomes our teacher, our convictor of sin, and our advocate, with GOD. HE is our mediator,with GOD working on our behalf, praying for us, because we as humans sometimes don't know how to pray or what to pray for.

that would be correct one way...through acceptance of jesus christ as your lord and savior
