I just fail to understand whether you mean the cost to buy a pup or a dog? As for buying a pup anywhere between Rupees 5 to 10 thousand depending on the registration of kennel club, gender , dealer etc. This is the material side. Then there is the ohter part. Investing your time , affection love on him and in return he would be there for you all the time during his life span at your beck and call . giving you that comforting ear when you are down , cajoling you to come out for a walk when you are feeling blue and giving you his warm company when everyone around you deserted you for comopany of others. Well if you ask me personally my Bruno is PRICELESS I would not part with him for all the worldy things that any one may offer. His affectionate and adoring look makes up for alll the troubles you had to undergo during your day ande his early morning kiss with his cold nose makes all the sleepiness disappear. all thes things make up a lab and That's what you will be getting for whatever you spend for him................A LOYAL AND SELFLESS FRIEND FOR LIFE.

Just like anything else for sale its all about the quality. If you are looking for a pet and are not worried about the pedigree you can get a nice papered dog for about $200.00. The better the lineage the more you will have to pay. First you need to figure out what you want to do with the dog. Show quality is going to cost you more than pet quality.

any where 3-4 thousand, be sure to check certain important traits to ensure pedigree...and pups are generally more healthy when bought from a household than a dog farm or breeder.

i own a 1year old lab when i bought her from a respectable breeding kennel i paid 800.00. females are always dearer than the males naturally.you can pay a lot more if you want one with papers to show. also if you buy an older dog around 500.00. but it is better to buy a pup in the long run . they are loving and very loyal and great with kids. goodluck.
