False, an outside opinion free of any prejudice is the key to getting good advice. Others in your inner circle may have hidden motives or judgmental ideals that do not always equate to what is best for you in many situations in love and life.

Don't agree at all. Diversity & different opinions expand your views. And what could your own give in terms of best advice if say you need some expert medical opinion which only a medical expert who's a total stranger can give?

It's not that people should'nt ask questions. It's sometimes in certain situations, you know yourself better than others, so if you've got a problem and your confused on how to handle it - visualize a person just like you that you cared very much about and they have the same situation as you - what advise would you give this person?

No, because by asking for advice people want to know more points of view. That way they can look at the issue at different angles and that helps a lot when you have to take a decision. And decision will not necessarily follow the advice.

Ooh very good, but if that is what you think then why ask the question?
I agree that only you can make your mind up about something but I also think it is good to get other people's perspectives on things to help you make you mind up

not always. when people are depressed, their minds don't work well. and when people are in love, they are often blinded by obvious truths. so they need a 3rd person's point of view to make them realize lots of things that were really just right in front of them, but couldn't see it because they were too confused and had too many things on their mind.
