If you find out that they don't, please let me know. They get all the early appointments at the hospital, they get my place at the dental hospital, the get preferential treatment on the housing list (they don't even go on the list).

It hardly seems fair that they have to get the bus!! Perhaps, we could petition the government to make them aware of this.

As a point of interest, I'm not a racist, just a taxpaying, National Insurance paying member of the BRITISH public.

They do. I know of a car lot owner who few years ago was amazed when a person of ethnic minority background bought a car, presenting a cheque for payment, issued by the DSS. (He naturally checked as this was the first occassion that he had witnessed a cheque from the DSS for a car).

The immigrant claimed that without a vehicle he could not attend interviews and move his family around as they couldn't rely on buses (presumably because of the language barrier and being unable to read timetables, etc etc.).

sure. The question must be requested why those human beings commute so some distance previous different threat-free international locations to get to the reliable ol' uk. all of them understand our authorities is so weak and lily livered is the reason. Time we were given difficult and booted out each and each of the ineffective freeloaders that are invading us.

I don't believe it is a 'car grant' but they certainly can claim for an emergency loan which I believe some choose to spend on a vehicle.

At one time those loans were to purchase a cooker or fridge, how times have changed.

I have heard that one or two do, but not always. It was in the papers yonks ago because they bought someone a new car to 'encourage' them to look for work.

I hope not, if so why shouldn't we get a car grant. Also if they have been able to get a driving licence in their own country things can't have been that bad...
