Am I eating too much? I want to loose weight, I have been doing this for quite some time (aprox. 4mths, but doing this harder work plan for about 1.5months).
For example, today I ate (i usually dont eat the bars or sauage roll) -
breakfast 7:15am at home - 40g of oatmeal with about 1/2 a cup of milk
a 21gram museli bar thing (its like 70 or 80 calories or something not much)
recess at school, 10:45am - nectarine and another 21gram museli bar
lunch at school, 1pm - half a sausage roll (i dont usally have these ever though), and an apple.
after school 4pm - 1/3 of a banana
**I went to the gym after this. Today I did 45 minutes on the bike (75% of my heart rate most of the time) and then a sprint for 15 minutes which was over 80% of my heart rate. I usually do a 40mins-1 hour of light weight training stuff but was too sore. i go everyday.
after gym - 250grams seafood salad, some light tomato soup and a small thin slice of chicken breast.
Im 14 yrs, 55kilos

You should talk to a doctor, for your age and activity level you are eating too little. The average adult uses around 2000 calories per day, the average teenage with the amount of activity you are doing would use almost 50% more, close to 3000 per day. That is the amount of energy you body uses to operate daily and you are eating somewhere around half of that, too unhealthy. How tall are you? 55Kg is underweight to someone that is 2m tall, average for 1.5m and a overweight to someone that is 1m (heights are exaggerations).
Too many young people have become obsessed with being toothpicks, if your weight is bothersome to you then talk to your parents, a doctor or a dietitian, only they can advise you of what is the right amount of food for you to consume.

Soup. It makes you feel fuller for longer, without added calories. Celery is good too, cause it's so low in calories you burn more just chewing it. Salad leaves are very low calories, so if you bulk up an otherwise small meal with them, then it won't feel like you're eating so little. (In fact, most salad veg, such as tomatoes, cucumber, etc, are good. Try a salad with a hard boiled egg, or with some oily fish. Satisfying and filling, but without all the empty calories. If you must have carbs, opt for wholwheat or brown options - brown rice isn't the nicest, imo, but wholewheat pasta and bread are delicious. The key to weight loss is, though, to burn more calories than you put in - if you live a fairly inactive lifestyle, like working in an office, you need very few calories in comparison to someone with a very physically demanding job, such as a builder. Work out how many you should be eating to maintain your current weight, and try to aim below it every day (if, say you think 1800 would keep you the weight you are, try for 1500. If you would need as much as 2300, maybe 1800 is little enough.) - The average, moderately active woman needs 2000 a day, for a man, 2500.

When I was in my teenage years, I lifted weights every day for months at a time. I didn't get good results because my muscles were always broken down. Then I would get frustrated, burned out and quit and NOT lift weights for many months. Rest is when your muscles re-build- you need that time. You can ride/run everyday if you want but only do the weights every other day or you might be wasting a lot of time and energy.

i dont think you get enough calories so your body doesnt want to lose any reserves.
you need at least 8 glases of water a day
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day
i think you need to have a little bigger breakfast since it is the most important meal of the day - your body gets info that its time to wake up and start burning calories
find a fitness/calorie calculator on the net, it will ask you to enter your stats (hight, weight, age and activity level), it will give you amount of calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400 calories off that number and that will be how many calories you need to lose weight healthy.

In the event it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
