Well, it depends on which university you are thinking of going to, what type of biology course you plant o study as a degree (likely to be a few), & what subjects & grades they may be looking at. The simple answer to this is look at the UCAS website: www.ucas.com and carry out a search, taking all this points into account.

Grades needed to study pure biology are typically lower than those to study medicine or veterinary science, because of a lower number of applicants.

You need to get at least 3 or 4 C's at A-levels to go on the 'waiting' list - the higher grades you get the better your chances are.
