Denon components with Klipsch speakers. Most surround receivers claim 5, 6 or 7x100 watts. They are misleading the buyer. True quality receivers usually run left/right 80 watts--Sub 120 watts and center and surround at 30 watts per channel. The Denon AVR-2807 boasts 110wattsx7 (20 to 20khz). At $1100, you truly get what you pay for. Add the Klipsch rf-52 speaker set ($1800) and you'll have a system that will truly imerse you into the movie.

That's a hard one. NADA Amp. NAD DVD.These are built to audiophile standards. You really have to listen to some speakers because they all sound different and pick the ones you like.If you can't or wont listen than any of the latest speakers manufactured in Great Brittan are a safe buy.To get the real cinema experience a projector and screen is the only way to go otherwise a LCD or PLASMA WIDE SCREEN T V may suit you

There are many companies such as sony, bose (expensive), ect. Just make sure it is a 7.1 system. 7.1!!!! Right now only newer technologies use this such as the PS3, HD-DVDs, ect, but sooner or later they will be more wide-spread, so you can have a much longer usability. Also make sure the amplifier has HDMI connectors on it those are becoming essential for HD content if you choose to get an HDTV.

No hi's? No lows? MUST BE BOSE! Please don't buy that over marketed garbage. Treat your ears right, buy some Klipsch speakers, and a Denon, Marantz, Outlaw Audio or Yamaha reciever
