Avoid eating fatty and oily foods. Eat plenty of green vegetables, fruits, and drink lots of water. Wash your face only twice a day ( do not abuse by washing frequently) with a baby soap. Apply only talcum powder and do not apply any facials / creams. Do not pinch or rub the pimples. Wash your face and apply coconut oil in the night before going to sleep. Thats all after two weeks see the improvement.

Soap. Great stuff.
Acne's caused by corynebacteria, skin-dwelling organism that gets lodged in blocked pores. Good old dehydrating oil-hating soap twice a day (with just a little bit of moisturising after) will wash off the bacteria and leave it bugger all to live in after.
If that doesn't work, the bacteria's fairly lodged in to the skin, and you'll need to move on to topical antibiotics and topical steroids. Systemic antibiotics and stronger creams are later on down the track if necessary. But in the meantime, go with soap.

Sometimes antibiotics are used to treat acne. If it is an adult that is having continuous problems with acne then it's possible that they could have a hormone imbalance.
I would recommend checking with your dr to be on the safe side.

Take anti-oxidant supplements, and your acne will not continue to get worst or pop up new ones.
Drink lots of water, and keep your face clean.

nothing made at home works, you can get retina or bervoxal at a parmacy, bervoxal is a cleanser that you use to clean you face before you put on the retina (which is a fast acne eliminator)- good luck.

Just get Proactiv Solution. Don't worry about anything else unless its so bad you need prescription meds (Accutane, Tetracyline).
