If you are concerned about the kids...try to see each other w/o the kids around or at least don't show alot of affection toward each other in the presence of the kids.....you wouldn't want to devestate them...but otheriwse sounds like you really like each other....test the waters and be blessed!

The feelings are mutual so what are you still waiting for and there's no problem with the kids!
Do you really still value what your friend said?? Is it out of pure concern and love for you or is it just plain jealousy.
And if you have any doubts always go directly to the concerned person and not listen to others because it might be distorted.
If it comes to love, it's always best to follow your heart and not somebody's decision.
if it didn't work at least you've tried and you'll never wonder and asked the 'what ifs'. But if it works, good for you!

Hi Ann, Sounds like your friend is jealous of you. Maybe she isn't as happy as she puts on. Tell your friend to stay out of your business and stop trying to keep you from being happy. It sounds like your daughter has found someone she really likes and his child really likes you. Listen to your heart Ann and have a good life and a happy life. You both sound like a prefect match. Go for it and have a great life together.
A Friend.

I hate friends like that and why is she not happy for you? I would tell her to mind her own affairs and leave u to at least get a chance to know this guy.
The guy says he likes u and the kids enjoy both of your company and thats all that matters.....

WOW, when i first started reading this i thought you guys were in school, but you're adults, talk more to each other than listening to so called friends that dont even have a vested interest, you have children involved, take resposibility for them and yourselves

confront your friend.. ask her why she did what she did.. tell her that you value your friendship with her very much, and you want her to feel happy for you... see what's her reply and reaction... hope you can still keep your friendship at the same time live happily ever after with that lucky guy.. good luck Ann

Do what feels right to you. Don't let friends choose who you will be with. You should be with someone who makes you happy. Tell your friend that it's none of her business who you're with. If you're happy with him, then I wish you the best of luck.
