Urine fresh from the bladder isn't dangerous to yourself because you already have all of the viruses or bacteria that you may have excreted into it from your own body.

Another person may be infected with something that is excreted into their urine, which you might catch. But in general urine-borne infection is extremely rare.

Well, I heard on a survival show that all urine is sterile and drinkable while it's fresh, whatever fresh means. I think I'd stick with my own as long as I could, (even that sounds gross) if I was ever unfortunate enough to be in that situation.

Urine is normally sterile unless the person passing it has an infection. It makes no difference who drinks it. Most of the bugs which grow in urinary tract infections would not do any harm if drunk anyway.

Urine exits sterile, believe it or not. Remember this next time you're pinned under the rubble of an earthquake! It'll go down (a little) easier.
