how can i ask my parents if i can buy a phone?

just ask them when they are in a good mood. If you are a responsible teenager, get good grades they might say it is o.k... Though they might ask you why you feel you need a phone. If you have a real good reason I am sure they will let you.
Do you have an uncle, or aunt that you can ask to help you with your parents in general?
Just realize that today's world there are many creeps out there so they are just looking out for your benefit.

say please and show you are responsible enough to own a phone by abiding by there wishes if they say no. just because they say no once doesnt mean 6 months down the road if you have showed maturity and responsibility that answer may change if not im sorry but i cant and wont tell ya to disobey them. my parents were pretty easy going on me and i have seen friends whose parents were not but nothing good ever came of not following the rule in the home

Tell them you need it just in case something happens, like an emergency, someone tries to harm you, you're lost, etc.
Also try and research good deals for cellphone plans first because if you tell them something like "There's a plan for 49.99 a month they will flip on you, so make sure you find a reasonable plan and tell them about it.

You can ask your parents ANYTHING...it sounds to me like you're expecting the answer "no" and there is no way to ask that will get you what you want if they feel like you don't need it. So...just wait. Or ask until they give in. Godloveya.

welll i dont think u should of ask because if its your money wat u have saved thn y not
but if not if its ur parents money thn ur gonna have to ask just tell thm incase of emergances or sumert thn u could get hold of thm
