No dont be silly!! Your only 24!! You have loads of time to meet Mr Right! Try and remember the bad things about your ex and the reason he is your ex rather than thinking of all his good points!! x

Oh my god...do not panic!! I was with my guy for 9 years, I'm 25 and felt exactly the same..I met a few men, seemed nice but just not what I was looking for..try and enjoy being single for a while, thats what I forgot to do!!
I'm sure you will find a perfect man within the next year and have a whirlwind romance like in the films...that what I hope!!

maybe some counselling will help you get it all out of your system and help you move on and help you realise what a good person you are and what you have to offer and learn to see people as themselves and not compare with ex!
it was a long time to be with someone from a young age, so you will have grown up and developed alongside this person, but now its time to spear yuor wings, learn what you like/dislike in all areas of life.
dont think about dating until you have had some more life experience and learnt to love yourself and learnt to trust people and yourself.
good luck!

Look at it this way. Why did you breakup with him? It's OK to be cautious, but don't judge a new guy's character in comparison to the old one. Relax, enjoy his company, and I think you'll finally rid yourself of the burdens of memory in relation to Guy #1. If you're looking for the same type of guy as the old one, you may enter into a never-ending cycle of missing the one that got away.

not at all ,pleanty of fish in the sea , you will most likely meet someone with the same charactoristics of your ex , but with the bits which you loved about your ex.. be happy , dont get to stubborn and look for things which are distructive to your future.

Every person is different and special in their own way and should not be compared to anyone else!
