Add bolognaise sauce & bacon & eggs ... and bake it. Viola', baked macaroni. And if you want, you can line the dish with pastry and put rectangles of pastry along the sides (so that the centre remians uncovered) and bake the lot - you get what is called "Timpana" in Malta - like lasagna, only miles better.

My son loves it with chocolate pudding...nasty I know but he is only almost 2. It really isn't that bad actually...but i sure wouldn't have thought of it. I did make a casserole once out of macaroni, pepper jack cheese, pickled beet, asparagus, tuna and mushrooms...it was for a crazy fair competition...the crazy part was I really liked it(but know one else did haha)

You've gotta try diced Spam and fresh Shiitake mushrooms. I also added a little bit of Sesame seed oil to keep with the "Asian" side of this "All American" classic

well my friend likes to eat his with ketchup.
I dont know of anyone else that does that and it's weird to me.

add tuna to it, add cooked ground beef to it, let it get cold and add mayo and relish to it and voila, macaroni salad.
