they are saved. After they have repeted the salvation prayer, the pastors say welcome to the family of God, and automatically think just becasue they say one salvation prayer they are saved, hogwash. I did not get saved by repeating a salvation prayer, it was the Holy spirit that convicted me as I have a sister that never gave up on me, when other people would have, and that was only through the grace o f the Holy spirit, and having supernatural dreams and visions streanthened my faith. The Holy spirit was working through my sister so I can come to faith in Jesus, and that was in 2005. To be honest I am glad I did not come to Jesus through one little salvation prayer. It was my sister spending countless hours and weeks with me to help me, and having Jesus himself appear to me, and the Holy Spirit doing his own work in me. Just because someone says one little prayer they think they are saved. Being a christians is a process that takes time and work through the Holy spirit, not by some

quick fix. Do you agree with me Christians?Just because they say one little salvation prayer does not mean they are saved, as they can easily say it thinking that they are saved, and then go and do what they want. They are so decieved.I believe unless they mean it, and give up their sins fully, and follow Jesus until they die or raptured alive and live for him instead of self they will not see Heaven.Christians I need to know you are with me on this.

By the way Punter(the muslim) Jesus did claim to be God. Remember when in the burning bush God spoke to Moses and was told to tell the the king of Egypt to let his people go, and Moses asked who shall I say who said this. God said tell them "I AM who I AM". Jesus said if you do not believe that I AM you will die in your sins. There is so much other things Jesus said to claim he is God. e- mail me jesusisahoney@yahoo.com.au.

Christianity is the "quick fix" religion....it requires no effort, no work, and no time. Someone can convert, literally, on their death bed, and *viola* a life-long child molester goes to heaven, when a 5 yr old who was never exposed to the bible or a man who was mentally retarded, and couldn't understand the bible or the ideas in the bible....go to hell, and burn forever, because they never "repented" or "decalred belief." Say you're sorry, and all is forgiven, simple and quick. Read a salvation prayer, and experience instant holy-ghost-power! (Usually those moments are designed to be emotionally charged, so people "feel" the spirit within them).....it just adds to the scam, that's all. "Hey, look, it's easy, come do it!" "Feel better instantly!" Might as well be on late night TV next to "Lose 20 lbs in 3 days" and all the "Girls Gone Wild" videos.....

Leane
Here you are JUDGING the validity of someone else's salvation ! Hold the phone here-- judge not that ye be not judged--- it is God that is the one that cares for all of these matters !! Period--end of discussion !!

Next, to the dodo up top-----

Christ to his apostles---- I am the way--the truth-- and the light
No man cometh unto the Father but by ME !!

Another---- For I am come into the world-- not to condeme the world--- but that the world thru ME might be SAVED

Only two scriptures of dozens--- so go back to lecturing on the Koran --- because Punter--- you've evidently taken a KICK in the head ---and certainly can't be spouting off any truths at all about the Christian's Savior for you not only don't KNOW Him --- you know nothing ABOUT Him!!!

And this entry about the "Christian alcoholics" etc being afflicted with HIV and all that other trash--- dude, there is no such thing as a "Christian alcoholic" !! Where other than some back alley Mollah's parlor did you come up with this trash ???

You forget one detail - its the Holy Spirit who leads the person to say the salvation prayer.

Yes, sure, there are many who have said it and not meant it. Gosh, I even got baptised and did not mean it. I did it because others were doing it. That didnt mean I was saved though.

The Lord looks at the HEART.

But with regards to a pastor who cannot see the HEART, well, he must trust that if the person said the prayer, then he is saved. Over time, the person will be known by his fruit.

We as born again Christians, get saved in different ways, but its always the Holy Spirit who leads us to say the prayer that gives our hearts to the Lord. And if not, then that is between the person and God, not us.

Salvation is achieved in a sinner's prayer. Keeping your salvation is up to you. The Word of God says that if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. That only is the beginning. This is a daily thing. By works are no man saved but you do have to strive to be Christ like. If we lived an eternity, we would still not be perfect. But that should be our goal. May God Bless U.

I agree with you that the Holy Spirit is the Only One who can open our spiritual eyes, ears and hearts to understand and accept the Gospel of Christ and to be saved. God knows each person's heart. I got saved and didn't know it for two years. Then I read a book that explained the sinner's prayer and I eagerly prayed it and had an encounter with Jesus which made me realize that I was saved. Suddenly I knew that what happened to me two years earlier was the moment I was saved, but saying the sinner's prayer was like making a declaration of understanding. God knows how to lead each person into that understanding.

It's true that you can not be saved only through one prayer...we must pray and learn to love our enemies. We must live THE WORD and be simple, modest not proud! GOD IS LOVE and we can learn from Him, we can go to HIM in prayer and with an open heart we learn everything we want to know because HE already knows our needs, all we have to do is to pray, to want HIS HELP!
Yes, being a CHRISTIAN "is a process that takes time and work" through the Holy Spirit. May God help all those that need HIS HELP to become CHRISTIANS, REAL CHRISTIANS!

I agree with you though perhaps with not so much vigor. Whenever I give a sermon I do not ask people to raise their hands or come to the altar or say a prayer, I just let them know that to be a Christian is to be sanctified from the inside and from there your faith is revealed on the outside, but no matter how much you pretend to be a Christian, if you do not have an inward conversion it is all for naught.

For some, this works and it does bring them to salvation. How do you know what happened to them after that prayer. You don't know that maybe they took it to heart and went home and got on their knees and prayed again. Although it took me almost a year to learn and 5 months for me to know I was truly saved after several convictions, I have heard that one of my friends witnessed to a person and brought them to salvation right away. Yes, for some it can take time, but you cannot honestly say this about everyone.

Savior
O Christians why not you reveal your god that Jesus has paid the price of your crimes and sins?
Most of sinful and alchohlic christians are being afflicted by God with STD (Sexually transmitted diseases) including AIDS and Hepatitis. Why not you tell your god that Jesus has paid the price and do not afflict us due out sins and crimes??? Or your sins and crimes exceeded than price paid?

Savior
In which Edition/Kind/Norm/Form/Version/Edition of Bible Jesus pbuh himself declared that I am your Savior?
In which Edition/Kind/Norm/Form/Version of Bible Jesus pbuh himself declared that I am your Savior if you are truthfull???
I challenge you, you will never be able to show me any such declaration from Jesus pbuh. If you are unable to show me any verse in which Jesus pbuh Himself said "I am your Saviour" then have a fear of hell-fire which will encompass infidels and culprits like you???
