when you are doing something that you are getting for free, you have to expect these kind of problems.

isn't that troublesome? Anyway, DOS is where you should go for help. Try this trick.

Click Start, Run, type cmd, then hit Enter. You'll be prompted at C:\. This is DOS interface, the old fashion OS before Windows appears. Now, since you can see both Windows and DOS at the same time, looking at the path of your "My Document" located. Most of us will have the same path (by default) looks like this C:\Documents and Settings\your user account name\My Documents, say, your account user name is Dave, then your path is C:\Documents and Settings\Dave\My Documents....

So, switch back to DOS, your path is already at Dave>, any folder that within Dave's folder are subfolders. So, move to your My Documents subfolder, by typing cd My Documents. cd stands for change directory, don't forget "s" at the end Documents. You have to type everything correctly, according what you have in the Windows, in order to work correctly.

Now, since you said Limewire folder is a subfolder of My Documents folder, and you want to delete it, you've tried to delete by Windows won't work, by Safe mode won't work. To remove that Limewire folder, type del limewire then hit enter. DOS will ask you to confirm, type Y to confirm.

Once u've done, just close down that DOS windows, refresh your My Documents folder in Windows by pressing F5. Your Limewire folder should be disappeared.

Switch off System Restore at Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

It sounds like something else is blocking you from removing the folder.

try downloading and installing frostwire. basically the same program. it should overwrite the folder with its own folder. then you can delete it. but frostwire is the biz. fast and reliable.
