It's true. ....... EVERYTHING CONSISTS OF GOOD AND BAD ASPECTS.......... . If you consider that thing to find good aspects you definitely find it and if you consider that thing to find bad aspects you even find it because the logic behind is everything consists of good and bad aspects. It could be a person or a thing or a situation. And remember no one is perfect.

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you will help them to become what they are capable of being (Goethe)

I always treat people as if they were what I want them to be and they always become that, just for me, because I treat them that way. I see good in every person.
For situations, I have low expectation so I'm never disappointed by anything or anyone because I do not expect anything. And if I get anything, it's always a welcome and nice surprise.

You're right: I always find the good I'm looking for...

There's some truth to this. The broader truth, I think, is that in some cases, it's like looking for the 4% of the apple that isn't spoiled, however. You're somewhat wasting your time to look for the trace elements of good in Jeffrey Dahmer or Charles Manson.

Tis a truth. But actually, you will always find what you are searching for, if you search hard enough and or long enough, if ya do not find the good, well at least you shared some good. That is the priceless gift that the traveler never passes quickly.

I attempt to do it all the time, and it always helps. I complain less, value the other person, and have learnt to respect their point of view.

After all we are all good to somebody all the time.. it just so happens that we end up at the receiving or giving end of "bad situation"

Absolutely true, but it takes practice to be able to do this. When you are used to accepting whatever that is given to you, even the negative, then it would take time before you would be able do this spontaneously.
