Our local Aldi used to sell them but we can no longer find them and they are my cat's favourites. Any help much appreciated.

Hi, I've just followed the links that you've been given & unfortunately, they're not for the Vitacat treats that you mean. My local Aldi still has some in stock - so maybe it is just a short-term stocking problem at your branch?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find contact details on the Aldi website - so it's impossible to email them to get some info - so your best bet may be to go into the store & ask the manager.

My cats also like the Vitacat range - especially the premium range of dried cat food in the plastic bags. It really makes their coats shine.

I had a quick search but the only other link to Vitacat that I found came up in relation to Trophy Pet Foods - but I'm not sure if they are the manufacturers of Vitacat or not.

However, they do offer free samples to the UK - so it may be worth a try.

Best wishes

In my house it makes it a treat if they get it separate from their regular feeding time. Sometimes they get a treat that's just a handful of their regular dog food. But because it's not in a bowl and not at feeding time, they figure it's something good. Same goes for anything that comes out of the refrigerator or from the stove. If it comes from those places then it must be "people food" and worth having. Even if I'm cooking it specifically for them; they don't know the difference. As far as commercially prepared treats go, they're usually not as nutritionally balanced as dog/cat food. And therefore not something you'd want to feed exclusively since they could be high in fats and fillers.

NaturVet used to make those, but I am not sure if they are still manfacturing cat treats. Check out www.naturvet.com and see what you can find.
