Keep the flash off. (so she doesn't get spooked)
Unless she knows that the camera's going to flash.

Other than that I don't know what the problem with taking a picture could be.

Pictures of a cat during her pregnancy should not hurt her maybe, her attitude has change from the first to the second time , being pregnant can put mood swings in to any creature who's pregnant.

It sounds as if "someone" is superstitious or has pictures and Xrays confused. Xrays can damage a fetus whether human or animal but there is nothing in photography that would do that assuming you are not risking abdominal burns by somehow trying to put the camera against her tummy and take a flash shot,

Why would it matter if you take your cats picture during pregnancy??? I see no problem there. I do think if you are concerned about your cats health you should have her spayed, she will live a longer, healthier life, and she will not get pregnant again and contribute to the pet overpopulation problem.

Nothing "wrong" in taking her pictures when your Cat is pregnant. She will be a little more wary - after all she has a baby on the way to look after!

I have had cats all my life, and I have never heard that. She might be a little testy, or act strange while she is pregnant and nursing.. but nothing bad will happen to her. Just be polite and remember that she is focused on taking care of herself and her new babies on the way. Everything should be just fine!
