No. I would rather pay for something or do without, unless it is something offered freely, like buy one get one free, a free sample or somesuch.

I once knew a guy that signed up his cat to get free cd's. A few months later, the cat received a credit card offer!!

yes. i told a beer company i found a mouse carcass in one of their bottles and they sent me free beer gift certificates and free t shirts and hats.
