I'm in 6th grade, i have an early birthday, and i'm tall and really mature for my age. my only friends are in 8th and 9th grade. Most of the guys i've "dated" are in 7th and 8th grade. I REALLY like this guy, but he's in 9th. i think he MIGHT like me. Can this possible work out?

Not right now it cant. First reason is your parents probably wont let it happen if they new. Second this guy will be around older girls at school, and a sixth grader probably wont be on his mind to much. Third when he's 17 and your 14 he can go to jail. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it is a reality check. Best Wishes

Work out to exactly what? True love and a life long commitment? Or....just a boyfriend? Look, slow down. You're 11-12 going on 27. Quit dating people in a different social structure than you to impress your friends. "Love", isn't a game or a contest. Focus on enjoying being young instead of trying to wiggle into the adult world. Once you're here, it's not that big of a deal. Quit trying to be older. Ask anyone older than you. You are going to spend the REST of your life trying to appear to be younger than you are. That's your REAL reality check. You have the rest of your life to be old.

Boys in 9th grade are waaay to advanced.
Just hang out with your friends and have a good time. You dont need a BF and dont need to define yourself by a guy. Be the awesome chick that is into lots of stuff not a boy crazy bimbo...

in my opinion, age doesn't matter as much. the question is, does the guy think that? he may think you are too young, or he may ignore the fact that you are 3 years younger than you and like you for who you are. it's all up to him. just remember - you're still in 6th grade. there's such a long way in life to go still.

No. You are way too young for someone that age. It is very easy for a guy who is that age to manipulate a girls feelings. Girls operate on mostly emotion and boys learn early how to manipulate that for sex. You're better off with boys your own age.

Girls are a lot more mature than boys at that age.
But you're pushing it.
In particular, he'll have friends who'll push him to push you into sex.
