Maybe he WASN"T flirting... I get accused of this alot. It is just my basic personality and alot of women take it that way. Then I politely turn them down (hope I'm not the guy in this question). My own mom said I am charismatic to women from 8-80. My female friends always say I could charm the pants off any gurl. But I am not trying. I just feel you all are indeed the fairer sex and deserve to be treated as such. My compliments are always rooted in reality, not come-ons or cheap lines. Perception is very point of view, so rely on open comunication over assumptions next time.

because he only wants to flirt with you, not get involved with a relationship with you. i'm sorry, he doesn't like you the way you do. move on and find another guy who will flirt with you BECAUSE he likes you.

Men suck...thats why I let them chase me. They are idiots. They want attention, from anyone that will give it to him. Dont let that get to you. Its obviously his loss.
