Question about the Jewish messiah??? Can Jewish people answer please?

I have been studying different religions at school, but would like to know a bit more...

What will your Messiah be like and how will you know that it is Him?

I would prefer it if Jewish people answered because I would like to know what they think personally.

The Jewish messiah will be a man, no more divine than any other man. He will fulfill the biblical prophecies concerning the messiah, which include:
bring the exiles back to Israel,
Rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem,
Establish Peace.

In the messianic era, all the people will recognize that the Jewish God is Lord. They will not worship the messiah or any other man, but only God.

Man...the jewish messiah IS NOT Jesus.
Many of the answers say that he was the messiah, that is thought becuse actually the first christians were jews.
It is said that he will come and bring peace to all the world.
We surely don't know what is like or if he will have an apearence but if he really exists he is going to come when the state of Israel will be competely Jewish. Many of the Jews think that he is just a thought (hope) and he exists in all of us.

The whole world will know when the true Messiah comes, as it would only require looking out the window and determining whether we are living in the Messianic Age described by the Hebrew prophets.

This is a time in history marked by an end to wars, the Jews restored in Israel and the Holy Temple rebuilt, etc.

Obviously, noone yet through history has brought in the messianic age.

By the way, when he does come, it will be a "he" and not a "He" ... just a normal human.

Messiah will be a lot like Moses a leader and deliver of the Torah and alot like Daveed a king who will rule in righteousness.
According to Judaism the chance of messiah being born happens every 50 years.
There are many messiah type people throughout history.
The one and only thing that has not come with each type of messiah is peace.

it particularly is a competent question. I genuinely have debated this with various human beings an i'm able to inform you that what they say is in basic terms "you do no longer understand the previous testomony such as you think of you do". they're genuine. i do no longer understand the "previous testomony" like the Christians. this is their e book. The Torah is ours and how we interpret that is been surpassed down in the direction of the a while. Jesus fulfilled not one of the prophesies so he would be unable to be the Messiah and no, there is no longer something in the Torah on the subject of the Messiah coming a 2nd time.

Anyone you speak to might be the one, even if they look very suspicious, unwashed, sick or poverty stricken. The person may come in disguise. Therefore, treat every person as if they were the one, and maybe they will flower into the leader we are waiting for.
