What are the shot difference between the two? And does anyone know how much caffeine each contains?

Solo = 1oz. espresso shot
Doppio = 2 (1 oz. espresso shot)

oddly enough the more you roast a bean the less caffine it contains so if your drinking coffee you should drink a lighter roast for more caffine.
Why is espresso more potent then? It's because the coffee is ground so small and a relatively small amount of water is used to brew it.
I think my doctor said that in a normal cup of coffee you have approx. 100 mg of caffine
