First...congratulations. I hope you have a wonderful wedding & a long happy marriage. I think I can help you with an idea. Until about a month & a half ago I'd been working in restaurants & bars for nearly 11 years. I've been a bartender for the past 5 straight years & I've learned many many cocktail recipes & even developed a number of my own signature drinks. Try this one and you can call it whatever you'd like so it has a personal touch.

It is served up as a martini but you can serve it on the rocks if you'd like. 1.5 oz of Effen Raspberry Vodka; 1/4 oz triple sec; 1/2 oz chambord raspberry liqueur or Razzmatazz liqueur; fresh lemon juice approx. 1/2 of a lemon squeezed; 1/2 tablespoon sugar; Shake all ingredients together with ice, then strain into martini glass or over ice in small cocktail glass; Float approx 3/4 oz to 1 oz champagne.

It should be pink in color and is very tasty but not too sweet. It can also be easily made in a large batch recipe to serve many people efficiently. I recently served it to 200 ladies for a banquet and they went nuts, they loved it. Again good luck and congratulations!!

Cosmopolitan or Long Beach!

You could also go with a blush (pink) wine like "Jeanie in the Bottle". http://troonvineyard.com/
