It will definetely change the earth. Please go through the latest scientific american wherein there is an article on global warming and methane. If you look at our system there are many things that cause global warming. Few of them are methane and carbon dioxide. These two are produced as much as possible and eventually causing global warming. It is said that methane causes 23times more global warming than carbon dioxide. Hence look at the rain forests, oil fields, etc .

Of course Global Warming will change the Earth, it already has. To find websites, just enter Global Warming into Google. There was also a movie made called Climate Crisis, you can find out about it at http://www.climatecrisis.com

I think that the climate shifts around on it's own and we have little to no influence on this process.
It won't destroy civilization.
We might have already seen "it's full power". It looks like the climate spike finished in 1998. I betcha by 2020 we have slid back noticeably.
Don't believe all the crap you read on the web. 99% of it is bunk. And it is NOT a consensus among scientists that we humans are altering climate. And even if there was a consensus - consensus does not make fact.

I think that evidence shows that the climate has always changed. Whet differs is how quickly the changes come. We don't understand yet all the factors which have caused the changes of the past and are causing it in the present. When the dinosaurs were alive the Earth was much warmer. We don't understand how the ocean currents were back then, the sun cycle and all the factors we have recently started to measure with satellites.
Here's a site that I find interesting:

I hope that lots of science continues to be done, without preconceived outcomes. We need that objectivity and this subject is too politicized. Funding is given according to expected outcomes and that is wrong. We need very badly to understand our climate and its trends.

It already is, from what I hear from major news organizations and science journals.
I'm the first to admit that I am no scientist. Whether or not it is caused directly by human civilization, or threatens to unravel it, I am not sure.
Atmospheric change is gradual, so I suspect that it will take centuries before the events can become suitably devastating to threaten our existence, provided it is not merely a blip on the climate radar.
Here are some good sites to look up:
EPA conjecture on global warming:

General global warming information:

I hope that this helps!

I know it's not politically correct, but I think the jury is still out (if the present CO2 levels that we have increased over the last century are raising average temperatures). The whole atmosphere and how it interacts is just too chaotic and dynamic to get a handle on and model, look at our miserable attempts at weather forecasting. And besides, long term we are headed into an ice age. So perhaps some additional CO2 is a good thing long term...? But common sense; adding more and more sequestered CO2 and then just not worrying about the consequences? That's just dumb.

No i do no longer have self belief the global needs any help as we talk or if there is truly some pollution because global warming/climate is a hoax created by technique of politicians to scare human beings into gaining votes and funds. some reliable evidence for this became the leaked emails from scientists that supported global warming. contained in the e-mails there became communicate about SILENCING all of us hostile to global warming/climate replace. at the starting up, if global warming or climate replace or regardless of the truth that this issue is is so genuine then why do those human beings desire all detrimental recommendations silenced? would not that deliver a red flag? If their concept of climate replace is so properly desirable then why do they experience threatened by technique of skeptics? also each and each of the information from checks having to do with climate replace are literally not accessible, in reality observations making it look even more suitable too reliable to be genuine. Polar bears are not death ice caps are not shrinking, as a count number number of truth they are turning out to be which contradicts what the data and politicians particularly say. we could do no longer ignore that those data and theories come from politicians which should not be relied on. i understand that truly some you do not count number on what i have self belief yet what i have self belief yet climate replace only looks too fishy for me to have self belief so I don' count number on it. only to wrap issues up my advice to anybody could be to hunt the reality, because the media and authorities are literally not continuously properly desirable aspects. quite of searching to them inspect all sides of the tale and once you're accomplished with that make certain even if something is genuine.

The National Climate Data Center of the NOAA publishes a table of average yearly temperature of all reporting stations In the U.S. According to this data, the year 2006 was the warmest on record at 55.01°F, surpassing the average temperature in 1934 of 54.91°F by 0.10°F. The coldest year in the 112-year record was 1918, with an average temperature of 50.86°F, giving a range of 4.15°F.
An exponential trend curve run on this data shows a 0.22% per century increase in absolute temperature, evaluating at 52.2°F for 1895 and 53.5°F for 2006, or a total change of 1.3°F.
So far I've found 3 periodic variations:
61.33 yr, 0.61°
36.11 yr, 0.22°
22.92 yr, 0.22°
None of this looks very alarming. What IS alarming is the distortion of this data and the CO2 data to generate a crisis where none exists for political gain or sensationalism in the media.

I agree it is already changing. However I am old and hope it won't hit in my life time. However I have already observed ominous climate changes where I live.
The temperature is already spring like and it is early March. Nice weather now but it may mean a hot dry summer.

yes, definitely. the effects of global warming may be beneficial or hazardous. beneficial for those who are likely to reside in hot-temperature area but dangerous for those who cannot stand the fast heat increase.
