yes they manual record the person who uses the satellite TV.
most of the satellite TV are prepaid or postpaid when u pay the bill or, get the pre-paid package ur name and address wil be recorded, other than that there will be no recording device to track

Not really. But if you have a satellite system and do not pay your bill they can send a disabling code to it and it won't work any more.
