They do. Look at any newspaper, especially on Saturdays.

Jehovah's Witnesses already advertise the coming kingdom of God to the earth. Been doing door to door campaigning for several decades.
Jehovah’s Witnesses have literally covered the earth with their witnessing. . . . No single religious group in the world displayed more zeal and persistence in the attempt to spread the good news of the Kingdom than the Jehovah’s Witnesses.” The Witnesses are actively proclaiming this good news in over 230 lands and in nearly 400 languages. This foretold work was never previously accomplished on such a global scale. It is one of many evidences that the time is now approaching for that Kingdom to replace human governments.

It's amazing how many people who imply they are smarter than everyone else here neither picks up a newspaper nor understands proper grammar.
Church services are advertised in newspapers.
Ever seen a tv spot for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? B'nai B'rith? Ever notice how local churches advertise on public access?

It's exceedingly rare to see anything like that here in England, but I understand that it's much more common in some parts of the US. I think they ought to be careful what they're saying - If they say "God loves you" or something like that, then they would be breaching advertising guidelines by making unsupported claims, but if they just say "Come to our church for worship amongst like-minded people" then it would be OK. As an atheist I wouldn't like to see it but I would defend their right to do it.

Due to Government regulations governing taxation issues. Since a church is not registered as a business, it can not operate like one - it is the law. It is simply, amazing how many people post on this site, their presumptuous questions and accusations. Absolutely incredible - no research but lots of assumptions - WOW !!!
