No need to persecute just for asking a question.
I don't think you yourself could chose to become homosexual. You could be attracted to other women, but to be homosexual you'd also have to stop like men.
Like, when you eat. Do you eat with your left or your right hand? If you're right handed, you probably eat with your right, but you don't have to. You could choose to eat with your left if you wanted, but it wouldn't make you left handed. Eating with you right hand feels more natural. Other people feel more comfortable eating with their left and still others switch back and forth.
Humans are very intelligent are very intelligent and can override nature. Some gay may choose to live a straight lifestyle just as you could choose to live a gay lifestyle. One can also choose to commit suicide or do drugs, but that doesn't make it nature's plan.

Then do it. Do it right now. For 5 whole minutes, look at a picture of an attractive member of the same sex and feel genuine sexual attraction towards them.
Then come back and tell us about it.
Ah, wait, you already admit to being bisexual. And THAT'S a choice? Then why CHOOSE to be bisexual? Why is that your choice?
Can you help it when you're attracted to women? I mean, do you make a conscious effort to be attracted to them, or do the attractions just "happen" involuntarily?
Alright, thank you for admitting that. Now... do you know that sexual orientation isn't contingent upon sexual behavior? For instance, a person is heterosexual long before they're ever sexually active. A person is likewise gay long before they've ever had a "gay" experience... even if they NEVER have a "gay" experience in their life.
So you can choose your actions but not your nature. You ARE bisexual and you can't change that. Homosexuals may choose to live a chaste life, but it will NEVER change their orientation. And not everyone is like you... not everyone is bisexual. Many people will NEVER look at a person of the same sex and feel attraction. Some people will NEVER look at a person of the opposite sex and feel attraction.

Homosexuality can be caused by many things. Some people are definitely born as gay or lesbian. Others stumble upon it later in life and make it a choice. Yet some others have been abused usually by someone of the opposite gender and decide to abandon heterosexual relationships forever. Choice is not always the case though. There are some cases which are definite genetics. The reasons for homosexuality really does not matter. Furthermore, condemnation of them will not convert them and goes directly against the very Bible that is being thrown at them.

Sexual orientations differs for different people. Some people can be attracted to both. Others are attracted to mostly one gender.
A good argument I heard was, "If homosexuality was a choice, then why do teens commit suicide because they don't want their parents to find out that they are gay? Why do kids get kicked out of the house and alienated by their family and friends for being gay? Why don't they just choose to be straight?"

Sexual preference has many faces....not just three (gay, straight, bi) . The fact you have unique sexual desires is a human trait. .. as is fear, love , hate and personal turmoil. So the good news is your 100% grade A -human being and in the same boat as the rest of us. The bad news is your going to have to make up your own mind as to which way you choose to live your life and how happy that will make you..Being a Christian, I know the Holy Bible says to lay with another man is an abomination but it says that about a lot of things like unruly children-which it says they should be killed. The part of the Holy Bible that always comes to mind at times like this is ' God IS Love and those who ab id in love , abide in Him'. Whatever you decide to do ....your OK with me.

If you say you are bisexual, then you are bisexual. That means you are attracted to both sexes, and *that* is why you have a choice as to who you choose to have sex with. Most people do not simply have a "choice."
I am a straight male. I have never found a man to be seriously attractive to me. Never had a choice. I couldn't simply "choose" to be gay any more than I can "choose" to fly. Most straight men I know would say the same .. and although some of them would be lying ... I don't think it would be all of them. (You are not a straight man. You are a bisexual man who "chooses" not to have sex with men, even though you are attracted to them.)
It is for that reason ... the fact that I never had a "choice", than I can just as easily imagine that a gay man had no more of "choice" than I did. They are as hardwired to be attracted to other men as I am hardwired to like redheaded females.

Homosexuality isn't about the act, but the feelings that draw you. You sound like you have homosexual tenancies, which you admit to not being able to completely get rid of. That makes you a homosexual, or at least bi.
The fact that you chose to abstain from homosexual acts does not alter what you are.
It's like someone with allergies to grass saying he is not allergic to grass because he chooses not to walk in fields.

You need to distinguish between a homosexual orientation and homosexual behaviour and identity. They are not the same thing.
Homosexual orientation is not a choice - it's intrinsic to the individual.
Behaviour and identity are, at least to some extent, choices.
If you want to condemn homosexual identity and behaviour for homosexually oriented people, please provide some sound moral arguments. I've never heard one.
Of course I'm not saying that every sexual act is morally okay - rather that you can't make moral distinctions just on the basis of the gender of the participants.

You are probably bisexual. Which means you are sexually attracted to both males and females. Therefore you are able to choose between the sexes. If a person were homosexual they will only be attracted to the same sex, and will not be able to choose to be straight. That help?

If someone is sexually attracted to those of the opposite sex, they are technically bi-sexual. If someone is attracted to those of the same sex and not those of the opposite sex, they are homosexual, it doesn't matter if they live a straight lifestyle. If someone is attracted to those of the opposite sex and not those of the same sex, they are straight. So if a person is homosexual, the choice isn't whether to be a homosexual or not, the choice is to live a life that will make them happy or to live a lie and be unhappy.
