I was shocked when I seen my sons name. It is rare when a pharmacy does that . Can anyone give me some advice of what should I do.

What should you do ? Call the Pharmacist immediately, or go down there and pull him on the side quietly and inform him of the mistake, the favor will come back to you 100 times from him, keep it on the D/L (down low). They handed the medicine to YOU, not him right ? Ever screw up, and the person was "Cool" about it ? Appreciated it, did'nt you ?

From what I have read on the web, vicodin safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established. It is an addictive drug, I'd question the doctor.

It was probably an accident. These computer programs list everyone with the same last name. Someone obviously clicked the wrong name.

It was probably computer operator error, they probably have to highlight a patients name in the computer and did the wrong one. I'm sure it wasn't deliberate. You should notify them of the error though.
