Have you thought about asking at the local high school or college in your area? You could ask the Art Department about it. I am sure that the students would be willing to do it. And if you ask at the college, you would probably get someone really good that would be looking at the chance as experience for work. Just try to set it up so that he or she can use it as experience for after he or she graduates.
Good luck on your wedding.

I think that weddings are usually done one time in your life...(if the person you are marrying is really "the one") and should be remembered in the best way possible.
If you really want to go cheap, have a famliy member do it like a sibling or cousin since they will have to be at your wedding, what is more if they have an extra camera and snap a few pics? You can also try to find someone that is looking to get into the profession photography business but hasn't have enough money to open their own business. Post up ads in the local paper and you might be surprised at what you might find. On the other hand, hiring someone cheap can lead to bad pictures ...and in the worst, you are left with a bad video or bad pictures that you probably will not like or regret.

Shop around at some professional photographers and see how their work looks like compared to the prices of other photographers. I think that any wedding should have a good photographer, don't go cheaply....your pictures will speak for themselves if the photographer is good.

GOOD LUCK!

If I knew where you lived then I might be able to help. Any chance you are in Indiana? If so, then I know the perfect person. My email is open on my profile.
