It's called biased media, which is caused by jealousy! Shame, it's a pity they can't be like Israel!

I wonder when the people of Israel will wake up and live like other humans. Israel is acting like a country in the old ages. It's the only racial country in the world. Yazan has mentioned the history in a light way. The history of Zionism is more bloody than that.
Zionism is not Judaism .. (this is for the people who try to mix). The world knew the truth, you can't hide your uncivilised nature. Israel is falling down and it's a matter of time. It has no official borders till now. It's the most dangerous country in the world. Many Jews around the world doesn't agree with Israel. Your heros who shoot on kids and women will roast in hell. Any one who support you will be in hell with you too. It's just an army for the dirty jobs that America doesn't like to do, it's not and never been a country.
Wake up you are closing your eyes and you don't see what all the world see.

Its is a bit hard to take anything the BBC has to say seriously in regards to Israel since they have made no secret of their bias against her.

That being said and passing over comments that are nothing more than someones attempt at revising historical fact--Israel is at odds with the world for one reason only.

God chose Israel as his eternal land and he chose the Hebrews as his chosen people.
How else would this tiny, tiny country inspire such passions through out the world--there is a spiritual battle at work as well as physical battles. All because God chose to set his land and people a part.

I know some will say the Jews were replaced but this is not true. Only for a time and with the promise of restoration which we are watching now, right before our eyes.

In contrast to the land mass of the world and population. Israel and the Jews are but a speck on the land/population map and yet--the world screams there is no place for them.

Other wise intelligent people loose all common sense and are blind to the reality of this small sliver of land. While somehow not seeing the enormous and oil rich lands of the rest of the middle east.

Prophecy was right when it declared Israel would become a burdensome stone to the worlds nations. History has documented well what happens to nations that come agaisnt her. Great and powerful nations are long gone or reduced with little to no power.

God has made clear that those that bless Israel will be blessed and those that curse her will be cursed.

One of the greatest hoaxes played upon the world is the whole idea of Palestinian refugees! Most of them were Jordanian but they didnt want these people back because the leaders needed "refugees" to use as a political tool on the world stage. Arafat took this ploy even further and he was Egyptian!

Most of the Arabs with real ties to Israel are today Arab Israeli's living in a democratic state. I have been to their villages--they are doing well.

Some of them fled at the insistance of the 7 countries coming against Israel in the 1948 war--they were told to leave and wait as these countries would make quick work of destroying Israel--but it did not happen that way--they lost and these people were stuck as their own brothers would not let them in.

Many more Arabs came from surrounding countries to swell the numbers. The red cross stated at the time there was so much chaos it was hard to document who really had a claim but they knew the numbers of those applying were many times more than the actual number of those who had fled.

What everyone seems to forget is that Jordan retained control of most of Jerusalem and the Old city for 19 years and in all that time did nothing for their people. Jordan and Syria are at odds, even today, over whether Israel is Syrian or Jordanian. No mention of Palestine in the grand scheme of things--only as it serves their political and propoganda war.

50 some yrs later there are still refugees which is absurd but keep in mind--they do not live in tents.
Tons of monies have poured in as aide but it is used for weapons--not for the "refugees". If the money was used to help these people there would not be all this hatred. The "palestinians" are the greatest bully's as they keep these people down to serve their political goals. Teaching them from birth to hate Israel and Jews.

Check your history--google a few of Arafats speeches.

Davay, why have you posted the exact same question four times within 10 minutes?

Just to set the record straight, Israel is not occupying any sovereign country.

An answerer provides a perfect example to answer your question. He simply cuts and pastes ignorant anti-Semitic canards that have no basis in fact.

He does not understand what it is that he has copied, but he knows he hates the Jews, and figures that this will gain him points.

To touch on the answer to your question, the world hates a loser, and they perceive Israel as having lost the recent war with Lebanon.

The lesson to be drawn from this is to eliminate the Islamic terrorists without pulling any punches.

If Israel were perceived as a winner today, then nobody would overlook the fact that the "presidents" of the Palestinian Authority have ripped off the poor starving Palestinians. Yasser Arafat ("Abu Amar") stole BILLIONS of dollars, while Mahmoud Abbas ("Abu Mazen") has only just now availed himself of the opportunity to steal 100 million dollars from his downtrodden subjects.

If anyone is oppressing the Arabs, it's their own leaders. Davay, do you deny this?

Well BBC explains that by the fact that this poll was conducted less than six months following the Israel/Hezbollah war in Lebanon when Israel didn't had a very good image all around the world...BBC also says that "this being the first time Israel was included in the list of countries rated in the survey, there is no evidence that current ratings are better or worse than historical views."
As I saw, from the 12 countries, the only countries where Israel is viewed positively are US and Nigeria...The fact that Israel is viewed negatively in Muslim countries is no surprise. But Israel has negatives views in all the countries in Europe and Latin America...Well guess people ,after the war from last summer, started to see Israel as the main problem in the Middle East: attacking and destroying a whole country for no reason and killing thousand of innocent civilians doesn't make the image of a country better..

Israel gets the most negative from the Israelis too only 2% of the Israeli trust their government policies in the latest poll conducted by an Israeli newspaper.
Israeli government want to keep occupying land that was never part of Israel and to do so the government is keeping the holy land a war zone forever.

Davay because desperate, Pro-Palestinian folks, like yourself, zealously slander/libel Israel at every opportunity you get, instead of resorting to civilized and thoughtful discourse. This creates a misrepresentative and obscured image of the country. As Hitler's propoganda chief, Joseph Goebbels once said, '“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.' Palestinian supporters have learned this lesson well.

Zilber.....selling a piece of land is one thing, getting it seized is another...
Dont even try to sit there and dispute that the palestinians were refugees from their own lands. Forced in tents to live and migrated to other countries only to deal with hatred. The surrounding countries were bitter that of the influx of refugees were a strain on the country. Civil war broke out in Jordan between the Jordanians and Palestinians over that fact.
The reason that israel got a low rating is because the are bullies. Whenever some stands up to them they are termed as terrorists. Open your eyes and smell the coffee. Educate yourself, dont just give lip service.

Other people have said it, but you can see it easily for yourself: look at one event that occurs in Israel and is "newsworthy" and see how it is written by the BBC and by CNN. Compare it with other places. You can see that British media is slanted against Israel.

Mostly because of peoples ignorance.
Everyone has an opinion on Israel. Many of these opinions are formed through, at best, ignorance and, at worst, anti-semitism.

I dream of the day when there can be peace in Israel / Palestine
