converstaion with me at the check out he said hi and a few other things as well as asked me waht i was making and then he went in detail about a recipe. I was caought off guard and my face went beat red he then left. Now i jsut assumed he was being friendly but my friends say he was trying to pick me up. I dunno im just curious, i know it doesnt matter casue i wont see him ever again. I was very shy and embarrassed when i saw him, so wtf do u think?thanks please dont make fun of my i know this is a stupid question, lol.

Sure, a pick up makes a nice story and everyone just loves to dig through a celebrity's dirt. But is this realistic? Maybe, but maybe not.
Consider for a moment how life might be if you have so little contact with people to just talk to. It is just as probable that the celebrity was just wanting to be normal for a few minutes.
And look at your response. You got embarrassed enough to get red in the face. Perhaps all he wanted was some small talk about recipes, and your friends just want something to rip you about.

I think you behaved like most normal people. If he was hitting on you, you'd know. Celebrities are enough egocentric that they make sure to get what they want. If he wanted you, he probably would have been more clear or persuasive.
Your friends just wanted to flatter you, and are probably jealos a bit. Try not to let them make you believe that you just blew the biggest opportunity of your life. Your response was simple and honorable. At least you didn't scream or pass out.
