Just as Christ said "the Kingdom of God is within you"--Buddha also teaches his followers that peace & bliss can only come from within you--both teach that overcoming the ego & truly knowing yourself is the only path to freedom. Buddha teaches through the path of understanding--Christ teaches through the path of surrender & obedience .

Beats me, it's all just an illusion, like trying to lay hold of a rainbow.

For Buddhists, the truth is that nothing is permanent. Come to think of it, even the truth of that statement is also subject to change. Well, I guess Buddhists can't really be sure of anything, but then again, how sure are they of that? Arrgghhhh!!!!
