Downloaded a 451 mb movie clip in "mpg" format.
But can't play it with neither winamp, itunes nor windows media player and div-x player and intervideo.

Though download was complete (with morpheus), the file name says "(unverified) The OC season-1 episode-1"

Why does it say "unverified"??
Plus.. why won't it play ?

It seems to be a codec problem.

download K-Lite Mega codec pack from www.majorgeeks.com.

It can play several formats and even some rare formats.

hope it would solve your problem

One thing is you have to have a video card support for it. Usually when downloading a file, there is a secondary check on the download file, like a self checker. When you downloaded the file, you definitely had something wrong. Delete it and try again.
