You can encourage her to branch out into sports you think she'd be good at but still let her enjoy the sports she finds the most fun. A strong arm, quickness and speed are just as important in basketball as they are in softball and track. The really important thing is to get into the habit of exercising in a fun way now so you can keep it throughout your life.

I think you should leave her alone and let her play what she wants. For some people it is just about having fun, not about being the best at something. She sounds like she likes to enjoy sports and not make it something intense. Just let it go.

Just let her enjoy any sport she wants, it doesn't matter if your good or bad at the sport, it matters if you have a good time playing the sport.

Either tell her what you think in a polite way. Or ask her if she'd like to play ball with you one day. Maybe that will get her motivated to try it. n

Don't tell her anything. Let her do something she enjoys. Why is it your concern anyway? Good for her doing something that makes her happy
