What's the reason that after drinking alcoholic beverages we feel thirsty and does these beverages absorb body's water or ...?

Alcohol inhibits your brain function at a cellular level. In high does it depresses your cells interaction with eachother where as in low does can stimulate interaction. This is why people act drunk.
Regarding dehydration; alcohol increases your need to pee and in doing so you release the necessary water in your system. As a rule you should consume a glass of water for every glass of alcohol. This will prevent a hangover in conjunction with a b-complex vitamin before you go to bed. Alcohol inhibits your brains ability to absorb this necessary vitamin which the cause of korsakoff's syndrome.

Alcohol is a diuretic, i.e. makes you pee, like caffeine. It dehydrates the body.
