If you mean "Japanese", then "holidon" doesn't mean anything... The Japanese language doesn't have an "l". The "r" sound replaces all "l" sounds however, even if it is written "horidon", it is still not a Japanese word... The "don" sound is not used much in actual Japanese words. It is actually the sound that a drum makes "don don" in Japanese...

What is the situation that it was used in? Are there any other possible spellings you can think of?

I am not sure about that one... but if I am looking for a simple word to be translated then I go to 'Travlang' website.

It can provide useful sometimes... sometimes you just have to dig deep elsewhere.

Good luck on finding the meaning of 'holidon'.

I've never heard it before, and out of context it is difficult to guess... I suppose it could be some food - often -don refers to something served over rice (in a donburi), but I really need to know where you heard it.
