I've never seen a Strickland tartan and couldn't find one when I looked. You many need to look into it more. I found my family had no tartan but was allowed to use another clans tartan for helping them in some kind of feud. They were allies and were given land. Also be aware that the tartans we know now are not the original tartans. The entire tartan/clan system was pretty effectively crushed by the English and had to be reconstructed many years later. Only one factory mill is producing what are considered to be official tartans and they are the ones who reconstructed the historical tartans as best as they could. Some clans have created new tartans too.

Don't believe there is one; however, there is an association with the Dunbar Clan based on the marriage of Elizabeth d'Eyncourt (whose Mother was of Clan Dunbar) to William de Strickland. According to at least one source (https://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/Dunbar-District/32119), this means that people with the Strickland surname can wear the Dunbar tartan. Don't know how the Dunbar's feel about that.

Strickland:
English: habitational name from a place in Cumbria, so called from Old English styr(i)c, steorc ‘bullock’ + land ‘land’, ‘pasture’.
As it's an English name, it has no tartan of it's own, and, just to be sure, I checked to see if the name was associated with any other clan, and it's not.

There probably never was one as they were a lowland family who came from England.
