Mohammed the founder of Islam was reported by early 7th century sources to be a false prophet. - see the Doctrina Jacobi.

The history of Islam has seen a number of false prophets, some of them go back to as early as the age of Muhammad, such as Musaylimah, al-Ansi, Tulayha ibn Khuwaylid and Sajah.[4]

In recent history the figure of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has been the subject of much controversy in this regard. He is considered a false prophet by Main-stream Orthodox Muslims.[5] The followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, though, revere him as a saint and call themselves Ahmadi Muslims. Ahmadis have been been declared non-Muslims by the government of Pakistan,[6] and their beliefs considered heretical and outside of Islam.[7] Ahmaids claim to be within the fold of Islam and deny the allegations leveled against them.[8]

John of Damascus, himself a resident of the Caliphate's capital city, described the Saracens in the early 8th century :

There is also the people-deceiving cult (threskeia) of the Ishmaelites, the forerunner of the Antichrist, which prevails until now. It derives from Ishmael, who was born to Abraham from Hagar, wherefore they are called Hagarenes and Ishmaelites. And they call them Saracens, inasmuch as they were [sent away] empty-handed by Sarah (ek tes Sarras kenous); for it was said to the angel by Hagar: "Sarah has sent me away empty-handed" (cf. Genesis xxi. 10, 14).
These, then, were idolaters and worshippers of the morning star and Aphrodite whom in fact they called Akbar (Chabar) in their own language, which means "great". So until the times of Heraclius they were plain idolaters.

From that time till now a true prophet appeared among them, surnamed Muhammad (Mamed), who, having happened upon the Old and the New Testament and apparently having conversed, in like manner, with an Arian monk, put together his own heresy. And after ingratiating himself with the people by a pretence of piety, he spread rumours of a scripture (graphe) brought down to him from heaven. So, having drafted some ludicrous doctrines in his book, he handed over to them this form of worship (to sebas).
In this extract, John might actually have been referring to Allat, a pre-Islamic goddess equated with Aphrodite.

muhammad should have obeyed the 10 commandments and the teachings of Jesus especially when he was plagiarizing judaism and christianity, therefore he proves himself to be false. his actions speak louder than his words.

I believe he was a false prophet. He totally changed the Bible message. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and Muhammed changes the message so that you do not need Jesus. Muhammed says that we get saved by deeds. When it is enough? What is the assurance?

First of all Wikipedia is not very reliable source for information. Second, there are many contradicting opinions about prophet Muhammad's prophethood. If anyone knew for sure there would not be billions of Muslims and billions of non Muslims.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the true and final messenger of God, who has been prophecised as "Ahmed" in old scriptures. The words "Muhammad" and "Ahmad" have the same meaning. Only the degree of comparison changes. People who claimed to be prophets after him are false since Quran says that "Muhammad is the seal of prophets". The only ambition of his life is that every human being born on this earth should go to paradise. But nobody cares to read his authentic history and revile him based on unauthentic stories written solely with the purpose of tarnishing his image.

He never falsified any prophets that came before him, including Prophet Jesus (PBUH) and asked Muslims to pray FOR them too as they prayed FOR him.

Muhammad is the true messenger of Allah. The rest after him were false Prophets as he is the final messenger and the Holy Quran the final book of guidance for mankind. He never changed the message of christianity Allah revealed the truth to him and he conveyed it to the world to remove an erroneous belief that was wrong to begin with,we respect Jesus as an Honorable messenger of Allah.Allah is the creator and sustainer of the Universe,we do not see Jesus as God himself,in our belief Allah has absolutely no equal and no partners. You are personally responsible for what you do.Read the Holy Quran with Understanding and an unbiased mind to understand the real message. Its for your own good.Hope you see the truth.

Prophet Mohammed came with the quran, the word of god, no one can write anything like this, unlike the bible, which is been corrupted by men, that is why Islam came to put everything in the right place. These names you are mentioned are just people that came after, and most muslims don't know much about them, its the same thing that we always hear about in the U.S, men that claim they are prophet and new religions like Scientology, mormons and many more everyday.

i think he's not a false prophet. because we are studying in our history about him. he married Khadiza, a rich but a widow lady.
He used to go to Mt.Hira for meditation. One day on the way from the Mt.Hira an angel called Gabriel sppeared before him and told him that there was only one god named Allah and some principles. he preached them to the people.

We should not spoil the belief of the muslims(don't think i'm a muslim)
