Is engineering diploma instead of + 2 (science) ,a better option for students weak in maths at 10th std level.

He is weak in maths and physics but prefers to take up science, Pl. also suggest good polytechnics which have excellent hostel facilities, in India.

Remember once if he wishes to upgrade his studies after diploma, he has to suffer during his engineering courses, bcos he has to come across Maths & other subjects related to physics.

Ya your statement is correct.But only to a certain extent. In diploma level he may manage with a less amount of mathematical knowledge,but after that it becomes a question mark.My suggestion is that if he is very much interested in scientific field tell him to have atleast a basic idea in mathematics.I tell this by my experience.Me too in my school days just hated mathematics but today i suffer a lot being an engineering student.Any way entering into engineering after the diploma course would be a better option rather than after the hsc would be my suggestion.All the Best..............................

Almost all people think that diploma is meant for those students who are really weak in maths. But they dont know that this is one alternative to engineering.

those are between the main perplexing majors of all. for this reason they pay the main too. mathematicians, engineers, laptop scientists, and so on and so on make $85K to $95K an year as median annual earnings. this is by way of fact they're truly difficult to realize. no longer all and sundry can do such majors, in spite of in case you have adequate math history. the two you are able to, or you are able to no longer. likely you are able to spend your finished life examining math and you will in no way be able to get math degree. So no longer properly worth dropping the effective.
