not true....you might be able to find a skin or theme to give it a little of the look of vista but you won't get any core program functions or anything like aero

you can download the vista dvd off any decent p2p though....I prefer dc++
you'll also need the activation workaround to go with it (don't mess around with any independant release crap....stick with the 2099 time crack from team clony or another major crack team release)

There are more than a few "Vista look on XP" packages. But there are some things to consider so check out Adrian Kingsley-Hughes (Gear for Geeks @ ZDNet) article on the subject [link #1 below].

The most common package seems to be Vista Transformation Pack from Windows X [link #5]. The current version is 6 and various articles and such can be found in links 2-4 below.

There's another package (but you'll have to have some help from your French-Canadian friends) in link #6 below.

And finally there other options from Top Desk [link #8] and WindowBlinds [link #9] that are described in this CyberNetNews article [link #7].

Enjoy!

You don't. That would be stupid and illegal and you wouldn't be able to get critical security updates. If you want "themes" to make it look like Vista, you can get them at http://themxp.org and you can download StyleXP to apply those themes at http://tgtsoft.com
