I switched from white to brown rice a couple of months ago. Its deliciious but I heard it doesnt make much of a difference when it comes to weight gaining and stuff. So, what should I substitute it with? I dont really like brocoli, carrots, etc, only veggie I like is lettuce and even that, I can't eat/or see too much in my plate at once else I throw up.
By the way, I don't need to lose/gain weight, just asking because I'd like to eat right so I can stay at my current weight

Spuds.

They have every thing you need to fill you

It is what you put with them which will affect your health and weight

There is something in your letter that indicates you are suffering from an eating disorder. SEE a doctor and a dietitian to teach you about good nourishing food

Brown rice is very much better than white, white is bleached and processed beyond all recognition but brown is naturall and it really is better for you than white. Brown rice is better for a diet than white if you're trying to lose weight or, even if you're not. Brown rice is just better for you. If you really want a replacement you could try potatoes or low fat noodles...

Try couscus (spelling) but it's actually pretty good and healthy. It has a rice/bread like texture. You can season it like rice, comes out nice and fluffy. You can get it at organic stores.

I do think rice is good, but if you want a substitute, try mashed potatoes with gravy (love it!), and spaghetti and bread ^^
