When I was in college (late 90s) I had an appliance that would cook potatoes, bake them (it was a stand alone electric thing, like a sandwhich maker etc) but I cant remember which company made it or what it was called, and I wouldnt mind having one again So does anyone still have one of these or remember what it was called? Thanks JC

We had one too and wanted to replace it when it burned out. The Baked Potato Maker was made by GE and wasn't hugely popular (most people use microwaves and ovens) so it was discontinued. All you can find now are gadgets that go in the oven or microwave with the potato.
